Wasn't it his choice to join the army? I mean there are some benefits to it and i am sure he was aware of the consequences. He made the choice he needs to live with it.

To begin with their special attacks are too powerful. Most of the characters feel like clone of each others but with slightly different moves. Even do its a good game theres a lot of to improve on. A LOT.
